What is Bionops Vita Dnat 3000?
Bionops Vita Dnat 3000 is a dietary supplement based on natural, high-dose Vitamin D3. It comes in small, easy-to-swallow "beads".
The benefits of vitamin D3
* Vitamin D contributes to
- normal functioning of the immune system,
- maintenance of normal bones and teeth,
- and the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus.
Daily supplementation is often recommended to preserve bone capital and the immune system.
Vitamin D deficiency is diagnosed when serum vitamin D levels fall below 20 ng/ml.
Vitamin D insufficiency is defined as levels between 21 and 29 ng/ml.
A level greater than 30 ng/ml is considered sufficient, while a level between 40 ng/ml and 60 ng/ml is ideal.
Vitamin D intoxication is only to be expected at a serum level of 150 ng/ml (1)(2)(3).
However, it appears that a large majority of the population does not exceed the serum vitamin D level of 30 ng/ml, which is considered by the medical community to be the minimum threshold to be reached in terms of plasma vitamin D status. Seniors and women are particularly prone to hypovitaminosis D.
